She is survived by daughter, Beverly Smythia and husband, David, of Conroe; son, Mike Fraytet and wife, Sharon, of Tehachapi, CA; grandchildren, Carl Fraytet, David Fraytet, Joey Smythia, Daniel Smythia, and Julie Clouse; 4 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; and sisters, Cornelia Knupple and Bonnie Burns.
A gathering of Thelma's family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Woodcrest United Methodist Church, 1684 Highway 96, Lumberton, under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
