Archie Clifton "Cliff" Lipford, 90, of the 1000 block of Ewell Road, passed away Oct. 25, 2007. A native of Ruffin, N.C., he was the son of the late Dorsey and Nannie Lipford. He retired from Austin Electric Company as vice president. He was a member of Haygood United Methodist Church and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Corinthian Lodge No. 266, AF&AM, the Norfolk Consistory of Scottish Rite and Khedive Temple of the Shrine. A funeral will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in Hollomon- Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, with the Rev. Chuck Shumate officiating. The burial with Masonic rites will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m
