Mae ( Brewster ) Baker was born to Jabez and Martha ( Baldwin ) Brewster of Salina, Kansas. She had two sisters, Mildred (Brewster) Muir and Olive (Brewster) Harrell. Both are deceased.

Mae married Arthur F. Baker, on Oct. 31, 1935, in Salina, Kansas, and they had one son.

Mae, through her Mother's side, has an ancestry reaching back eight generations, and almost 300 years in American history, to the Puritans of New England.

Mrs. Arthur F. Baker
Mae B Baker, 87, of 319 Curtis, died Nov 15, 1982, at Golden Plains Convalescent Center after a long illness. Born July 9, 1895, in Ottawa County, she married Arthur F Baker, Oct 31, 1935, at Salina. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors: widower, of the home, son, Daniel B Baker, 3007 E 4th; foster sons, John I Hamilton, Winston-Salem, NC, James B Hamilton, Dublin, Ohio, nine grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 am Thursday at First Assembly of God, the Revs. John Chastain and Russell Rexroat. Graveside service at 2 pm Thursday at Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. Friends may call from 0 am to 9 pm Wednesday at Elliott Chapel. Memorials to the church.
