Mr. David R. Deloach, age 55, died Thursday at the Veteran's Hospital in Dublin, Ga. The Chatham county native lived most of his life in Bulloch County. He served in the U.S. Army, worked as an electrician with Intermarine and retired as a convenience store owner/operator. Mr. Deloach was a charter member of the Bulloch County Riding Club, past member of Mill Creek Hunting Club and a member of Harville Baptist Church.
Surviving are his mother, Darthey Ansley Deloach of Brooklet; a daughter and son-in-law, Sara and David Martin of Nevils; a son, Lee Deloach of Statesboro; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Janice Deloach of Lwell, Ind.; two grandsons, Kyler and Jacob Martin of Nevils; an aunt, several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Harville Baptist Church with the Rev. Patrick McElveen and the Rev. Bill Ansley officiating. Burial will be in the Harville Baptist Church Cemetery. Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home.
