He was a life-long resident of Bryan County and was born in Clyde, now a part of Fort Stewart Reservation and the former county seat of Bryan County. He retired as a meat cutter after 30 years and was the former owner of Androski Fine Meats. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a Baptist.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Dorothy Anderson of Ellabell; a son, Ray ANderson of Ellabell; three daughters, Debra A. Odom and Cheryl A. Waters, both of Pembroke and Brenda A. Cannon of Savannah; a sister, Betty Hardeman of Savannah; a brother, William H. Anderson of Glennvue Nursing Home of Glennville; four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Monday at Morrison Funeral Home, Pembroke. Burial in North Side City Cemetery, Pembroke, with full military honors.
