Pollock, Louisiana honors three who perished in attack on Pearl Harbor

Members of the community officially dedicated Pollock's new Pearl Harbor memorial Tuesday Dec 7, 2010, the 69th anniversary of the attack. The memorial includes the names of Wilburn Carle Roberts, John William Whitaker Jr. and Malcolm Clark, three Pollock natives who were childhood friends and all aboard the USS Arizona.

The memorial is next to the town's Wall of Heroes memorial, by the Town Hall building on Patterson Street.
