Frances Eastman Services for H Frances Eastman were held at 10 am April 23 in the Colonial Chapel of Miles Funeral Service. The Revs Ted Brown and Sarah Parker officiated. Burial was in Tannehill Cemetery.
Music included "Now I Belong to Jesus" and "How Great Thou Art," both performed by Jim and Jam Miller. Karen Gottlob was the pianist.
Honorary casket bearers were Teresa Davis, Andrew Eastman, Julie Grant, Christi Hook, and Lora Walton.
Casket bearers were Christopher Abbott, Rod Eastman, Darrell Gottlob, Michael Grant, Jerry Hook, and Glenn Walton.
Memorials have been established with the Hackney Community Baptist Church Youth Fund and Hospice Care of Kansas.
Obituary Frances Eastman , 87, Winfield, died Monday, April 19, 2004, at her home. Funeral services will be at 10 am Friday , 4 -23-2004 , at Miles Funeral Service. Interment will follow in Tannehill Cemetery southeast of Winfield. Friends may sign the register book from 9 am to 5 pm Thursday. Born April 12, 1916, in Winfield, she was the daughter of Claude and Abbie W (Chapin) Hunt. She was a farmwife and homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Cecil Edgar Eastman, of the home, Eldon Edgar Eastman, of Arkansas City, daughter, Annette Eileen Wing of Newkirk; sisters, Wilma Wiseley and Doris Priest , both of Winfield, five grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Clyde and Kenneth Hunt.
Memorials have been established to the Hackney Community Baptist Church youth fund and Hospice Care of Kansas. Contributions can be made through the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Miles Funeral Service Winfield.
