CSA - One of the jurors in the John Brown trial at Charles Town in 1859. He enlisted 7/15/61 at Charles Town for 12 months in Glenn's Co. of 7th Virginia Cavalry. Present in November and December of 1861. Re-enlisted 9/18/62 at Charles Town in Company A of the 12th virginia Cavalry as Corporal. POW at his home at Charles Town 11/12/62. Exchanged at City Point 11/21/62. Re-arrested 12/31/62 because he did not have his parole papers. Sent to Ft. Monroe 1/31/63.
