Garry Kenneth Clement, 69, passed away at his residence in Vernon Parish on Monday, April 11, 2011. Garry, the son of David and Edna May Pahner Clement, was born on December 22, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Clement was a resident of Leesville for the past 35 years. He retired from the U.S. Army. He served four tours of duty during the Vietnam war. A graduated from Upper Iowa University with a degree in rehabilitation and counseling, and a part time officer for the Leesville City Police Department.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Lynn Clement of Leesville; daughter, Michele Ann Poe of Leesville; three grandchildren, Charles David, Justin and Amanda; and three great grandchildren.

Cremation of his remains was handled by Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville
