The daughter of Carl Augustus Squier, Sr. and Ora Bain, Letha was a public school teacher in Calhoun County, Illinois before her marriage to George "Omar" Rosa.

Letha and Omar were married on the evening of 25 Nov 1926 in the parsonage of the Methodist church. The ceremony was performed by Reverend Hedger, and their attendants were Evanda Benz and Carl Rosa.

The Rosas were the parents of 1 child.

Letha and Omar moved to Hardin where he operated a service station associated with Munsterman & Son, wholesale oil distributors in the area.

Letha was active in civic projects and church organizations. She was a member of the Hardin Board of Education.

Letha died of pneumonia at her home in Hardin following a brief illness. At the time of her death, she was 31 years, 3 months and 27 days old.

She was survived by her husband, Omar; 1 daughter, June; her father, Carl; 3 sisters, Mildred Etter of Hardin, Ora Bennett of Hamburg, and Dorothy of Batchtown; and 3 brothers, Junior, Howard and Bud Squier, all of the Oak Grove, Illinois vicinity.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. on the afternoon of 11 Dec 1932 at the family home.

Her husband, Omar, eventually remarried. He passed away in 1983 and was buried next to Letha.
