Jacqueline "Jackie" Meyer, 44, Garden City, NY, formerly of Arvada, CO and Minot, ND, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010 with her mother and children by her side, in a Woodbury, NY nursing home, from complications of a brain aneurism.

Jackie Meyer was born February 10, 1966 in Minot, ND to Peter and Janice (Eberle) Meyer, Jr. She was raised in Minot and graduated from Bishop Ryan High School in 1984, where she was active in cheerleading and the pom pom squad.

She worked at Claire's Boutique in Minot and became manager of that store, and later moved to Arvada, CO and continued to manage Claire's Boutique there. She then managed Barnes and Noble Bookstore in Colorado for several years and was named district manager of that store. Three years ago she was transferred to the Barnes and Nobel Bookstore in Garden City, NY, where she continued to work until a year and a half ago when she had a brain aneurism. Jackie spent the last year and a half in a nursing home in Woodbury, NY.

Jackie was a dedicated and loving mother to her children, and a wonderful daughter and sister, who will be deeply missed.

Those who shared in her life, children, Ashley, Sierra, Mallyson and Jack, all of Denver, CO; parents, Pete and Janice Meyer, Jr., brothers, Jeff (Janice) Meyer and their children, Whitney and Blake Meyer; John (Madonna) Meyer and their children, Grant and Trent Meyer and Joseph (Andrea) Meyer and their son, Ashton Meyer, all of Minot; maternal grandmother, Genevieve Eberle, Rugby, ND; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Leo P. Eberle and her paternal grandparents, Johannah and Peter Meyer, Sr.

Memorial Service: Saturday, January 8, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot, ND.

Visitation: Friends may sign the register book Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial: Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Karlsruhe, ND in the spring.
