Willaim Charles Hottel had three children with his first wife, Mary Curry, who died on the day her third child was born. The child died about three weeks later. His second wife was Eliza Ann Reynolds and together, they had nine more children. He was "an agriculturist, lumberman and painter," according to the entry concerning him included in the History of the Descendants of John Hottel, 2nd Ed., pg. 583; 1976. Forest County Death Records identify the above given death date.
