Lance Cpl. William H. Crouse IV, 22, of Woodruff, S.C., died Dec. 21 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C. Surviving are his Mother, Nancy (Vinnie) Siders of Fort Wayne; Sister, Jennifer (Grant) Chaffee of LaGrange; Brother, Nathan Rothman of Phoenix, AZ; Brother, Ryan (Wendy) Rothman of Fort Wayne; Sister, Jennifer (Benjamin) Hartman of Fort Wayne; Grandfather, Mike McGraw; Grandmother, Edwyna Siders; Niece, Melody Chaffee; Nephew, Storm Chaffee; Niece, Elena Argerbright Rothman; Nephew, Denver Argerbright Rothman; Niece, Corinne Rothman; Nephew, Maxwell Hartman; girlfriend, Sarah Haynes of Wilmington, NC and numerous aunts and uncles. Billy was preceded in death by his Father, William H. Crouse III, Grandmother, Hilda McGraw; Grandparents, William H. & Blanche Crouse II, Grandfather, Vincent Siders.
