After arrival, lived in Chester, York, Dauphin and Lycoming, PA counties. Moved to Butler Co., OH and then settled in Orange Twp., Rush Co., Indiana. An Orange Twp. land ownership deed reflects Machlin spelling (later recorded Plats for same property reflect Machlan). There is at least one proven descendant that used the Machlin variation. Marriage 1: Hester Updegraff; Marriage 2: Sarah Woods. - IndianaTurtle (4th great-granddaughter)
