Memorial Service Today For Child Crash Victim
Funeral Services will be held this evening for Mark C. Lehmann, age two, of 1162 Fourth St., Elko, Nev., formerly of Corning.
The child and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Lehmann and brother, Jeremy, were involved in an automobile accident in Elko late last month. Mark died Jan. 27 of injuries sustained in the accident. Sources in Elko said the child's mother was still hospitalized Wednesday, but his father and brother apperently escaped without serious injury.
He was born Sept. 29, 1974 in Montour Falls to William and Deborah Deitrick Lehmann.
Surviving are: his parents and brother; paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. David Lehman of Corning; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Deitrick of Lynchburg, Va.; great grandmother, Mrs. Eva Young of Williamsport, Pa.; great grandfather, Everett Lehman of Hornby.
Friends may call at the Carpenter Funeral Home today 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held there at 9 p.m. this evening. Burial will be in Coopers Chapel Knoll Cemetery.
