Garth Cyril Clark was born Saturday, September 14, 1912 in Milton, Utah, the son of William George Clark and Elizabeth Jackson.

He married Arlene Camilla Danielsen (my aunt) on May 13, 1933 in Logan, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized on January 24, 1977 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Arlene preceded him in death on July 28, 1975. In 1936, Arlene and Garth left Utah and lived in Southern California for the next forty years.

Garth was a mill worker for B.F. Goodrich Company for thirty-six years. Arlene and Garth had three daughters: Alice Renee Clark, Sharon Beth Clark, and Beverly Jean Clark.

Garth suffered from liver cirrhosis for several years. On Wednesday, December 1, 1976, he was rushed to the Beverly Hospital in Montebello, California and was suffering from acute UGI bleeding. He slipped into a hepatic coma and passed away peacefully the following evening at 6:30 p.m. from liver failure. He resided at 2543 Kurt Avenue in Commerce, California at the time of his death.

Graveside services were held on Monday, December 6, 1976 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery located at 3640 Whittier Boulevard in East Los Angeles, California.
REST IN PEACE.
