ARGUMENT TURNS FATAL FOR NEIGHBOR
An argument between neighbors erupted into gunfire that resulted in the death of a 26-year old Milwaukie man.
Jacob Leo Hayward was arguing with Jeremy Owen Bracken, 24, in Bracken's front yard Sunday night, police said.
The argument was reportedly over stolen property.
As the argument escalated, Hayward was shot in the chest at close range with a handgun. Attempts to revive Hayward failed and he was declared dead at the scene.
Bracken has been charged with first-degree manslaughter.
