Grandma Evenson was the Daughter of Edd Brown and Anna Marie Johnson Brown, she was the first of eight known children.

Grandma married Gustav August Evenson on March 7, 1884 in most likely Redwing, Minnesota, though is could have been in Broken Bow, Custer County, Nebraska, we have not been able to prove the location as of now.

Grandma was the Mother of the following 13 children: A Baby Boy, Annette Christine, Clara Gertrude, Almer Edgar, Gerhard Alfred, A Baby Boy, Agnes Elizabeth, Selma Charlotte, A Baby Boy, Hendrik "Henry" Samson, Harold Barnhart, George Emanuel and Ella Mae Evenson.

Her first Baby Son was born ? but from Annette to the Baby Boy who was before Hendrick they were all born in Broken Bow, Custer County, Nebraska. Hendrick was born in Bloomer, Chippewa, Wisconsin. They traveled across the whole Country and were settled on Tahoe Ridge in Idaho County, Idaho which is near to Kooskia by June of 1902. Their she brought into the world, Harold, George and Ella. She saw her daughter Clara married in February of 1906, then her first Grandson was born in December of 1906. Next came a Granddaughter in December of 1908. Clara then lost a baby girl in 1911 and Annette married in December. And she lost her daughter Clara to pneumonia in 1915. When Clara's husband decided to move to a warmer climate with his 4 children they started to think of moving. Then their home burned to the ground around 1922 which is when they moved to Pasco. We know that Grandma was present when Almer married Margaret and then when her Grandson Orland was born too there in Pasco.

From all we have ever been told she was a gifted singer who had a beautiful voice. She loved her family dearly and was devastated when she lost her daughter Clara. She saw many hardships during her life and also many blessing. At the time of her passing she had at least 13 Grandchildren.

Mrs. G. A. Evenson died Monday after a long illness, the immediate cause being apoplexy. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from the undertaking parlors with Rev. James Opie in Charge. Interment was made in the local cemetery.
The deceased was born in Minnesota, Nov. 23, 1866 and was married to G. A. Evenson in 1884. Thirteen children were born to this union of whom three boys and one girl are dead. All of the nine remaining were present at the funeral. The family came to Pasco in 1922.

The Concrete Stone that is her headstone was meant to be a temporary stone and the info. on the headstone is not correct.
