Mrs. Charles Maley Passed Away Wed. Eve.
Mrs. Charles Maley passed away Wednesday evening, June 21st at the home of her daughter in Chicago, Ill. She was taken seriously ill six weeks ago and it was thought that she could not possibly live as long as she has. The remains will be brought to Mechanicsville and funeral services will
be held Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church. The obituary will be published next week.

Mrs. C.S. Maley, Former Resident of Mechanicsville, Dies
Special to the Gazette-Mechanicsville. Funeral services for Mrs. C.S. Maley, former prominent resident of Mechanicsville, will be held at the Presbyterian church here Friday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. E. Winslow Brown of Cedar Rapids officiating. Mrs. Maley died Wednesday evening after a lingering illness
at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Marian Harkness, Highland Park, Ill. Her husband was a livestock dealer here for thirty-five years. As Anna Davidson, Mrs. Maley was born about 74 years ago in Stanwood, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Davidson, pioneers of Cedar county. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Harkness and Margaret, both of
Highland Park, and a son, Lyle, of Chicago.
