Christian "Chris" Ryan Allen, 9, Springfield, was born December 10, 1996 in Salina, Kan. Chris passed away May 15, 2006, following a two-year battle with cancer. Chris will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and third grade class at McGregor Elementary School. Chris is survived by his mom Lisa Allen; stepdad Richard Soto; two brothers, Trenton and Keaten Soto; grandparents Barbara Pogue and Mike Davis of Springfield, Roy Allen of Amarillo, Texas; great-grandmas Clara Jackson of Topeka, Kan., Ina Smith of Hereford, Texas; and many aunts and uncles.
