On Monday, March 3, 2008, Lula Bell Havner went home to be with her Savior Jesus Christ.
Lula was born June 20, 1914, in Brown County. On March 11, 1934, she was married to Meredith Burl Havner, now deceased. Lula and Burl had five children, three sons and two daughters. Her second son, Connie Clyde, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Wilburn Havner, Jerry Havner, Sue Cass and Patsy Farmer. She has numerous grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was a woman who taught her children about God and the Bible. We all feel grateful she was with us so long, and she will be missed.
Graveside services for Mrs. Havner, a resident of Longview since 1996, will be at noon Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Coleman Cemetery in Coleman.
