Earl G. Wickersham, 67, of Rt. 8, Box 346 Yakima, died Friday in St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Mr. Wickersham was born Oct. 15, 1915, to Pearl and Ernie Wickersham in Yellville, Ark., where he was raised and educated. On Oct. 12, 1936, he married Betty Hayes in Yellville.
He was an office worker for Deep Rock Oil Co., in Oklahoma City, Okla. He moved to Yakima in 1944 (sic 1940) when he began working as foreman for Hahn Brothers, Paul Smith and Val Lydin Orchards, which he continued until retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Betty, in Yakima; four daughters, Mrs. Morris (Karen) Beck, Mrs. Ken (Liz) Ealy, and Winnie Forgey, all of Yakima, and Mrs. Gerald (Lynne) Collins of Selah; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley L. Wilson of Oklahoma City, and 16 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter in 1979.
Graveside services will beheld at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Naches Cemetery.
