Lynn J. Asay was born Sunday, August 15, 1920 in Clawson, Utah to Jerome Jr. and Mary Louise Jensen Asay.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gene, and son-in-law, M. Roy Daniel.

Calling hours were held on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Berg Mortuary of Provo located at 185 East Center Street in Provo, and on Friday from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. prior to the services at the church.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kanab City Cemetery in Kanab, Utah, where Lynn was laid to rest.
