Geraldine E. Brownlee, 70, of Leslie, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 1993 at Ingham Medical Center, Lansing. She was born the daughter of Clare and Gertrude (Johnson) Watters on April 12, 1922 in Eden, Mich.

She graduated from Mason High School in 1940, and she married Garth M. Brownlee on October 19, 1940. She was a long-standing member of the Eden United Brethren Church. She dedicated her life to serving the Lord and sharing her faith with family and friends.

She was a devoted farmer's wife and partner to Garth, loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed walking, traveling and corresponding with friends and family.

Surviving are her husband, Garth, of Leslie; 2 sons, Larry (Cynthia) and Richard (Pennie), both of Leslie; 1 daughter, Sheri Lee (David) Dunsmore of Leslie; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grand children; 1 sister, Maxine Raab of Mason.

She was preceded in death by one son, Lee, in 1943.

Funeral services will be held at Eden United Brethren Church on Friday, January 29, with Rev. Wesley Emerson officiating.
