She was born June 7, 1980, in Lubbock, and lived here for all of her life.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Donald Neeley in 1983.
Survivors include her mother, Tina White of Lubbock; a sister, Taleena Wilson of Lubbock; three brothers, Freddy Paul Gschwend Jr., Charley and Christopher Neeley, all of Lubbock; and her grandparents, Willie Bob and Bettie Louise Gschwend of Lubbock.

Amanda Sue Gschwend was found murdered in a Northeast Lubbock cotton field in July 1999.
In April 2007, Selena "Melody" Kuykendall was found in the same field where Amanda was discovered.
Amanda's family remembers her as a sweet, intelligent girl and a talented artist.
