Anna, age 86, was a native of Morgan County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Phillip and Mary Amyx and the wife of William Archer. She was a local resident for 42 years and was the owner of the former Archer's Restaurant in Hanford. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, past president of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, Hanford Craft Club and Neighbors of Woodcraft, an associate member of the Kings County Deputy Sheriff's Association, and a member of the AARP, and the Hanford Senior Citizens Club. She was the oldest displayer in the Kings County Fair and she owned and operated the Glider Inn in Hanford as well as Archer's Restaurant.
Joined Methodist Church in 1913 in Loveland, Oklahoma. Transferred from Puyallup, Washington on Mar. 3, 1946.
