My paternal Great-Grandfather Ottorino Albieri.
He worked as a glass blower in Venezia's Merano (Venice), Italy.
At one point he left Venice, and went to the city of Padova (Padua) where he met Amelia. They married and had one son Walter, he would become my grandfather one day.
In 1922 they left Padova and moved to Verona. They settled there and had 5 daughters.
Ottorino died at age 42, his lungs damaged from the years he worked as a glass blower in Venice. High temperatures and chemicals inhaled gave him what is called black lung disease. I have never met him and know very limited information about him. He was Grandfather of my biological father Lucio, to honor Ottorino, Lucio was given the middle name Ottorino.
One of his daughters named her son after him, he named his own son Ottorino as well. It seems to be a family name for the Albieri.
