He was born in the province of Hannover, Germany. In his youth he came to the USA and he was united in marriage to Emille Quentmeyer in Watertown.

Henry Feldhusen

Mr. Feldhusen, a resident of this vicinity for many years, died in Milwaukee Sunday morning after a lingering illness.

Mr. Feldhusen was born in the province of Hannover, Germany on February 28, 1851. In his youth he came to this country and was united in marriage to Emille Quentmeyer in Watertown. Their union was blessed with six children, two of who preceded the parents in death.

The family at first lived in the town of Leeds and 35 years ago moved to the town of Hampden. Later they moved to this city. Six years ago the departed moved to Milwaukee to spend his remaining years with his son, Arthur Feldhusen, at whose home he passed away at the age of 80 years, 10 months, and 26 days.

He leaves his wife, three sons, Arthur of Milwaukee, and William and Henry of this city, one daughter, Mrs. Esther Kreier, one brother, August Feldhusen, all of this city, and two sisters and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at Zion's Lutheran church in this city, Rev. O. W. Koch of Lowell officiating. Interment was at Hillside cemetery here.

Mr. Henry Feldhusen

Mr. Henry Feldhusen, a former well known resident of Columbus passed away at the home of his son, Arthur Feldhusen in Millwaukee last Sunday morning after a lingering illness at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 26 days.

He was born in Germany, February 28th, 1851 and in his youth came to America, locating at Watertown where he married Miss Emillie Quentmeyer. Their union was blessed with six children, two of whom preceded the parents in death. The family at first lived in the Town of Leeds and 35 years ago moved to the Town of Hampden. Later they moved to this city. Six years ago the departed moved to Milwaukee to spend his remaining years with his son. He leaves his wife, three sons, Arthur Feldhusen of Milwaukee, William Feldhusen and Henry Feldhusen of Columbus, one daughter, Mrs. Esther Kreier of Columbus, one brother August Feldhusen of this city, two sisters and twelve grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Zion's Lutheran church Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. O. H. Koch of Lowell officiating and burial was at Hillside Cemetery.
