FELIX M'LAUGJLIN CALLED BY DEATH - WELL-KNOWN RESIDENT DIES THIS MORNING - Resident of This City Since Birth and Had Been Active in Many Fields

Mr. Felix McLaughlin, aged fifty-nine years, died at 10:00 o'clock this morning at his home, 301 Montgomery street. A stroke of paralysis was the beginning of a long illness, and death came as a relief from months of suffering.

Mr. McLaughlin was born June 17, 1859 in this city and had lived here all his life. In 1880 he was united in marriage with Miss Lena Quentmeyer who preceded him in death in 1908. He is survived by a son, Fred McLaughlin and two grandchildren. There are also two sisters and five brothers who are: Mrs. Mary Giswold, Milwaukee; Mrs. Elizabeth Beaulieu, Chicago; Frank McLaughlin this city; William McLaughlin, Portage; and Charles, Joseph and John McLaughlin, Milwaukee.

Mr. McLaughlin was chief of the fire department for a number of years, retiring from that position ten years ago. He was a charter member of the Volunteer Fire Department. For several years he was president of the Bricklayers' and Masons union.
