Born in Suedburg on Feb. 7, 1912, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary J Hoffman Kreichbaum. She retired as a garment worker at the S. Kantor Co. in Lebanon and was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church, United Methodist Church women, Sunday School Class #1 and Hebron Fire Co. Auxiliary. She was a volunteer at Cedar Haven.
Services for Violet S. Brubaker, 28 Moravian St., Lebanon, were held Wednesday, Jan. 29. 1997, in Christman's Funeral Home.
The Rev. John H Shenk, paster of Hebron United Methodist Church and the Rev. John P. Lutz, pastor of Faith Bible Church in Mt. Joy, officiated. Interment was in Grand View Memorial Park. Pallbeares were William Brubaker Sr, William Brubaker Jr, Samuel Brubaker Jr, Scott Brubaker, Rick Brubaker, Steve Brubaker, Paul Bowman and Glen Dissinger.
