Esther Harrison was born on April 2, 1804 in Dolphinholme, Lancashire, England and christened on June 10, 1804 in Ellel. Her father was Jonathan Harrison (from a Quaker family of Kendal) and Ann Taylor. Esther married Robert Heap (son of Robert Austin Heap and Frances Elizabeth Parmenter) on July 25, 1825 in St. Michaels, Cockerham Parish, Lancashire, England. The witnesses present were John Falshaw and Mary Procter. Esther and Robert had ten children named Jonathan, Elizabeth, Mary Ann (Mrs. John Wilson), Joseph Frederick, Robert, Isaac, Isaac Parmenter, Frances Charlotte, Sarah Eleanor (Mrs. William Anthony Kelly), and John William. Esther died on December 18, 1869 at 181 Highgate in Kendal.
