Home address: Shawnee, Pottawatomie County. Mrs. W. A. Harp, mother, Rt. 2, Shawnee. Enlisted in the U. S. Army August 10, 1943. Attended Shawnee High School. Member of Baptist Church. Sailed for duty overseas in April, 1944, and served as a paratrooper, Airborne Command, in Africa, Sicily, Italy, France, and Belgium. Killed in action near Bergstein, Belgium.
