Frank Franz Jr., son of Franz "Frank" Franz and Mary Braun Franz, was the husband of Emily L. (or F.) (Perine) Franz and father of Frank Walter Franz (1914). In 1940 he lived with his wife and adult son at 172 Minna Street in Brooklyn (just off Fort Hamilton Parkway near the south side of Green Wood Cemetery) and worked as a chauffeur. The 1920 census lists Frank's father as having been born in Alsace-Lorraine, although his actual birthplace was the Rheinland-Palatinate, just north of Alsace-Lorraine. In 1920 he and Emily and their young son lived with Emily's family.
