Charles Edward Tatem of Cinnaminson passed away on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011. He was 73.
He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth 'Betsi' (Ryan), married for 49 years. He was the loving father of Timothy Ryan Sr. and Carrie Elizabeth; beloved grandfather of Ashley Rebecca and Timothy Ryan Jr., and great-grandfather of Gianna Faye Clark; dear brother of Roger W. Tatem Jr. and uncle of five nieces and nephews.
Charlie was an Environmentalist for Occidental Petroleum of Burlington, N.J., an Entomologist for the Virginia Department of Health, and a teacher for the Norfolk School System in Virginia.
He enjoyed genealogy, history and gardening.
Relatives and friends are invited to Charlie's Life Celebration Service at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday relatives and friends are invited from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Epworth United Methodist Church, 500 Morgan Ave., Palmyra, N.J., followed by his Funeral Service at 11 a.m.
