VIAN The Rev. Will R. Connelly Sr., 68, of Vian died Monday, July 19, 1999, in Vian. He had been a minister and evangelist for 44 years, founding the Vian Trinity Free Holiness Church and school. He was the school's principal. He was an Army National Guard veteran, 45th Division, of the Korean War. He graduated from the Chilocco Indian School near Ponca City, Okla.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Vian Trinity Free Holiness Church with burial at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

He is survived by his wife, Opal; three daughters, Pamela Ann Graham of Conehatta, Miss., Shannon Choate and Kirbie Jett, both of Vian; six sons, Barney, Stephen, Bruce and Patrick Robin Connelly, and Will R. Connelly Jr., all of Vian and Michael of Sallisaw; one sister, Jo Ford of Vian; and 15 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be the Revs. Roger Alexander, Marcus Campbell, Leroy Watkins, Herbert Lee, Jim Collier and Russell Pope.
