She was born March 27, 1947 in Umpire, Arkansas to Wingo and Inez Keith Manasco. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Pennington was preceded in death by her husband, Lester A. Pennington, February 22, 2006; father; brother, Charles Manasco; and sister, Phyllis Manasco.
She was survived by seven children, Bryan Billings of Center Point, Arkansas, Devonda Furr of Cave City, Arkansas, Vickie Chambers and Lester Pennington, Jr., both of Nashville, Arkansas, Connie Wilkerson of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Randy Pennington of Dierks, and Ricky Pennington of Kirby, Arkansas; mother, Inez Manasco of Umpire; sisters, Fern Linville of Umpire and Carolyn Wakefield of Nashville; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 2, 2006 at the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in Dierks; Rev. John Henry Williams and Rev. Bruce Short officiated. Burial followed in the Galena Cemetery, Umpire.
The family received friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 1, 2006 at the funeral home in Dierks.
