Carl Allen Glore, son of Craftin Allen and Elizabeth Glore, was born in Sturgeon, MO, Nov 15, 1874, and departed this life at his home in Cuba,MO, Feb 22, 1928, aged 53 years 4 months and 7 days. He was married to Lillie Maude Robinson, May 13, 1901 and to this union was born two children, one dying in infancy. The living Mrs Florine Magruder of Webster Grove. Besides the wife and one child he leaves one brother, George of Madison, IL and one sister, Alice Nicols of St Louis, an aged father of Valley Park, three grandchildren and other more distant relatives to mourn his sudden departure.
Mr Glore was a master Mechanic by trade and served his trade up to some eight years ago when he entered into the mercantile business at Valley Park, MO. About one year ago, on account of health he sold out his business and came to Cuba where he bought his present home and planned to retire.
He was a Master Mason of Mispaugh Lodge of St Louis, also a member of the Eastern Star and Royal Neighbor. He was a member of the Kingsland Memorial Presbyterian Church of St Louis, having filled the offices of Deacon and later Ruling Elder of that church and for a number of years was the teacher of the young peoples Bible class. While Mr Glore had lived in Cuba for near one year, he with his wife had made many friends who will miss him. He was a pleasant and unassuming man,loved by all who knew him.
The funeral was conducted at the home of Rev M E Morse. Buried by the Masons,Eastern Star and Royal Neighbors. Interment was made in Kinder Cemetery.

We wish to express our most sincere and heartfelt thanks to our many relatives and kind friends for all the kindness and sympathy shown us in the late sad loss of our dearly beloved husband and father, Carl A Glore, who departed this life Feb 22, 1928.
Especially do we thank Mr Hollow for his kind and efficient service, Rev Morse for his consoling words, the Royal Neighbors, Masons and Eastern Star and all who sent the many beautiful floral offerings.
