Christian Leader: Bishop of the Methodist Episcopal Church South. A founder of Southern Methodist University and the Perkins School of Theology at SMU. A prominent clergy and bishop, he was a key figure responsible for the unification of the three branches of Methodism in the United States in the 1930's. Mouzon United Methodist Church in Charlotte, NC is named in his honor.
