BRUCE WEBSTER ALLEN, 75, of Duncan, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at his home.
Funeral was to be at 10:30 a.m. today in City Heights Baptist Church with Jimmy Green officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Granite City Cemetery under direction of People's Cooperative Funeral Home of Lone Wolf.
Bruce was born March 17, 1931, in Cordell, to Maude Taylor Allen and Lee Allen. He was married to Emma Jean Bell Allen on June 8, 1984, in Duncan.
He had been director of outside contracts for Halliburton. He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and a veteran of the Korean conflict. Mr. Allen was a member of City Heights Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing tennis and card games.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Jean of the home; a daughter, Leah Berning and her husband Scott of Duncan; a brother, Jim Allen of Cordell; two adopted granddaughters, Jenna and Jaclyn Gallardo of Duncan; a granddaughter, Natalie Berning of Duncan; three stepdaughters and their husbands, Vicky and Frank Triplett of Cypress, Calif., Darla and Donnie Jones of Shreveport, La., and Jacki Bell of Duncan; a stepson, Larry McClellan of Duncan; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters.
