Billy Joe (Wild Bill) Turner
Billy Joe Turner, 80, of Blossom, passed away Sunday February 13, 2011 in Paris, Texas after an extended illness.
He was born on June 30, 1930 in Telephone, Texas a son of William and Alice Miller Turner. Mr. Turner was a retired mechanic having owned Turner Automotive for over 25 years and was of the Baptist faith. Billy was a loyal fan of the Cowboys and Rangers. He loved hunting and wood crafts but most of all loved his children, family, and his special pet "Summer Love".
He was preceded in death by a daughter Billie Ann "Annie-Pooh" Turner; his parents; two brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include his wife Terry M. Turner; children Kay Clem and husband Terry, Sabrina Thaten and husband Mitchell, Kyni Hartwell and partner Rudy Houston; grandchildren Teri Escobedo and husband David and their children Andria, Brianna, Gabriel, Tiffany Rutledge and husband Chris and their daughter Tinley, BJ Ramsey and daughter Malia, Kameron Clem, Trey Clem, Jessie Thaten; brother Amon Turner and wife Francis of Carthage; sister Willie Ruth Sanford of Mississippi; special great nephew John Darrell Beezley and wife Sissy; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the Red Oak Cemetery. A eulogy will be given by John Darrell Beezley and a prayer by Rev. Bill Dickey. Pallbearers will be Terry Clem, Mitchell Thaten, BJ Ramsey, John Darrell Beezley, David Escobedo, and Trey Clem. Named as honorary pallbearers are Woody Sessums and Bradley Sessums. Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
All the pain and grief is over,

Safely home in Heaven at last.
