Warfields of Maryland, by Joshua Dosey Warfield, 1898, Pg 15:
"My evidence of the Christian name of Richard Warfield's wife is found in the Testamentary and Chancery proceedings of 1679, in the case of Major Edward Dorsey, who married Sarah, daughter of Nicholas Wyatt, versus Thomas Bland, who married Damaris Wyatt, the widow of Nicholas Wyatt. Among the many neighbors of Nicholas Wyatt, as winesses of his intention in making his will, I find 'Richard and Elen Warfield'. Major Edward Dorsey therein stated that Richard Warfield had bought lands of Nicholas Wyatt."
