Birth: 1720, USA
Death: 1757
Berkeley County
West Virginia, USA

Due to new research, the parents of Daniel Kennedy cannot be determined, as yet, with any certainty.

His will of 1751, indicates he owned a fair amount of land he referred to as a "Plantation." Within the will, he names his wife Mary and states five children by name, with reference to additional daughters not named. [Most likely these daughters are the same as mentioned in the will of Daniel's son Thomas, written 16 Sep 1798, whereby he refers to "my two half sisters".]

It is believed Daniel married Mary Allen as the Allen family is intertwined within this Kennedy line. To date, there is no proof of a prior marriage for Daniel.

Children with Mary:
1) William Kennedy
2) Thomas Kennedy
3) John Kennedy
4) Mary Kennedy, m: Mr Shannon.
5) Col Daniel Kennedy (1751-1802), m: Margaret Hughes.
.... unnamed female children
