Funeral services for Mr. Lee Barnett, age 29, of Tyler, Texas are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 5, 2012 in the Mt. Sylvan Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Powell officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Sylvan Cemetery with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors in Lindale. Lee died April 2, 2012 in Gregg County. He was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on May 30, 1982 to Michael Doyle and Brenda Beth (Beauchamp) Barnett. He worked for the Gregg County Appraisal District as an industrial property appraiser and held membership with several professional appraisal organizations. Lee was also a member of the Rotary Club in Longview.

Lee is survived by his loving wife, Laurie Simpson Barnett of Tyler; parents, Michael and Brenda Barnett of Lindale; brothers, Brian Matthew Barnett of Austin and Johnny Ray Jackson and wife, Cathy of Ft. Worth; sisters, Melissa Denise Wilkins and husband, Mike of Flint, Kim South and husband, Brent of Rockwall and Tracie Biggs and husband, David of Ft. Worth. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Ray Jackson, Jim Chamberlain, Grady Ewing, Mike Wilkins, Mikey Wilkins and Joe Don Bobbitt.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home in Lindale.
