Mrs. C.E.Phillips dies;Funeral At 2 P.M. On Tuesday

After a several week's illness, Mrs. C.E. Phillips, of Hollywood, died in a Rome hospital Sunday at 5:30 p.m.

Mrs. Phillips had resided in Lindale for a long number of years until a few months ago when the family moved to Hollywood. She was 27 years of age and besides her husband is survived by four children,two sons,James Thomas and C.E. Jr., the oldest being 11 years and two daughters, Nellie Beatrice and Mildred Lavon,the youngest is 17 months. Also her parents,Mr. and Mrs.D.E. Cline,and one sister,Mrs. Doris Mize, of Hollywood, survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the residence conducted by the Rev. William Jones, of the Berry schools and interment will be in the East View cemetery in North Rome.

The following are the active pallbearers, T.P.Scott,A.J.Cape,Roy Penley,Robt. McHaffey,W.H.Cox, H.B.Hendrix,and Melvin Slaughter. Honoray pallbearers will be;L.R.Odum,Paul Marion,Luther Johnson,M.H.Herndon,Dewey Patterson and Alfred Miles.
