Homer Frisbie Clark, 93, of Pleasant Hill, passed away Feb. 6, 2005. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at Pleasant Hill Community Church, with the Rev. Tom Warren officiating. Mr. Clark was born March 25, 1911 , the son of Homer J. and Mabel Frisbie Clark. He lived and worked in Washington for 26 years where he retired as a safety engineer with the U.S. Department of Transportation. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during World War II. He was also a member of the Pleasant Hill Community Church, president of the Washington chapter of Safety Engineers and a member of Phi Delta Theta at Iowa State University. He was an avid golfer and tennis player and loved to travel. Survivors include his wife, Frances Clark of Pleasant Hill; daughters, Catherine Clark Eaton of Durango, CO, Jean Clark Gantzer of Monterey and Mary Clark Jeter of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Elizabeth Eaton Strobel, Kenneth Francis Eaton, Christopher A. Clark, John McDow Jeter III and Mary Frances Jeter Moegling; and great-grandchildren, Patricia Elizabeth Strobel, Amanda Christine Clarke, David Henry Clarke, Margaret Clark Moegling and Quinn McDow Moegling. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pleasant Hill Community Church building fund. Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC was in charge of the arrangements.
