Mrs. Byron Dead
Well known former Fort Scott woman died at home of her daughter in Kansas City, Mo.
Word was received in Fort Scott today announcing the death of Mrs. Belle Byron, which occurred yesterday in Kansas City, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Annie Dowell, with whom she had been living for the past many years.
Mrs. Byron for many years operated a popular boarding house at 214 Main Street, known as the Byron Boarding House. She is survived by one don, John, and her daughter, Mrs. Dowell. Another son, Frank, who grew up in Fort Scott, died a few years ago. The funeral will be held in Kansas City, Mo.
