Robert, who resided in Baltimore County, Maryland, served as a Private First Class with the 334th Infantry, 84th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.
He enlisted in the Army on June 24, 1943 in Camden, New Jersey. He was noted as Single, without dependents.
He was "Killed In Action" near Prummern, Germany during battle.
He had served in the Army for one year and five months at the time of his death and was decorated with a Bronze Star and the Purple Heart.
