Husband of Elizabeth Hall Higman.

Robert, who resided at 837 North Clayton Street, Wilmington, Delaware, served as a Private First Class with Company B, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He enlisted in the Army on October 18, 1943 in Camden, New Jersey. He was noted as being Married.

He was "Killed In Action" in Germany and was awarded a Purple Heart. He had served the Army for one year and one month at the time of his death.
