Son of, or possibly nephew of, Stanley Cichocki and Julia Piorkowska Cichocki.
Jerome, who resided at 700 East Seventh Street, Wilmington, Delaware, served as a Private with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
He was "Killed In Action" during the battle of Iwo Jima and was awarded a Purple Heart.
He had served with the Marine Corps for eight months at the time of his death and was decorated with the Purple Heart.
