Hermann F. Busse, 89, of Fort Wayne, retired attorney and Allen County Circuit Court judge, died Thursday, July 13, 2000, at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana.
"He was a kind and generous man who loved walleye fishing on Lake Erie with his friends and grandchildren."
The Arcola native was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Fort Wayne Historical Society and loved history. The Marine Corps veteran was an avid woodworker.
Surviving are his wife, Regina M.; stepdaughters Linda L. Polk of Lafayette and Rita M. Squadrito of Fort Wayne; a stepson, Jay Snyder of Albion; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bessie, and a son, Jerry.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 S. Calhoun St., with calling from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be at Bethlehem Suburban Lutheran Cemetery.
